I make no assumptions about what people might or might not have said when that is outwith my knowledge. My eyes are not glued to the small screen, even when former councillor Razzall speaks (or maybe especially).

My question about exactly what he said and what the question was still stands.

The sad truth is that the facts do not support your conclusions. The facts are boring, they show local councillors making decisions which you can take issue with if you wish in terms of whether they were the best decisions. They appear to have taken into account all relevant factors and reached a conclusion which was neither perverse nor irrational.

Unfortunately the same cannot be said of the inferences drawn by yourself from the facts. There is no evidence of corruption or collusion whatsoever. That would be much more exciting of course, and the lack of evidence hasn't stopped the innuendo, which continues and is elaborated by denigration of the personal characters (as opposed to the arguments) of people not involved in the decision.

I am not a nominated "fall guy" (another unsupportable assertion). I have no brief to defend anyone whatsoever. I was invited to contribute to the site by Mr (no extra "s") Berend, and have done so. I have even asked whether I should stop in the hope that people would agree that this would be a good idea. But I have been disappointed.
