I have not read much of the stuff here prior to my being asked to comment by Mr Berends. I now have done and note that no evidence whatever has been adduced to support the rumours.

I have no idea how Fredic is financed. I do not think it apposite that a purchaser of council property should have its financial affairs investigated. We do not check that payers of council tax do not have a criminal record.

Your comments would carry more weight if supported by evidence rather than "it is understood" and other such uncommitted phrases. At this stage what is rumoured is no more likely than that the company is owned by people from the planet Xargle 5.

Despite what you might think, if I did have proof that there had been some sort of wrongdoing, I would be prepared to take this further, but you are a long way from convincing me.
