This is very interesting: Laurence Mann, the clogger.

I wondered how long it would be before my comments started to irritate. Not very long it appears. But I would like to take issue with what you say, as you would expect. The comments and assertions I have made on various issues in the last few weeks have not, contrary to what you say, been "phoney nonsense no-one believes". Indeed very little of what I have said as been contradicted.

Questions I have asked of people who lurk on this site have not been answered. Mr Berends still hasn't justified his caustic but interesting interpretation of the collective enfranchisement legislation; and we await with interest his recipe for dealing with Afghan refugees.

This is a site where for many innuendo is seemingly more important than intellect; and where rumour is more convincing than reason.

I was invited to post things here, and unlike many, have used my own name, and my own ideas. I am happy to refrain from posting here if that is what people want - if I am making you feel a bit uncomfortable.

Let's have a bit of democracy. If others using this site have a view on this matter why don't they express it. I will trust those of you with multiple aliases to declare a view only once.

If more people want silence from me than not, I will respect that view and wish you all adieu. Shall I take Mr Meacock as a "Silence" vote?
