No. Democracy is free speech, all points of view, without incitement to hatred or violence (including the ruling Liberal Democrat regime!).

I welcome your contributions, genuine and in your own name, whether agreed with or not and so should everyone else on this site. At least you try to explain the alternative view or case for the defence. Far better and easier to respect than many of your colleagues, (there are exceptions), some who show arrogant defiance, others who deceive in their replies, and the remainder who make no attempt at defence. (Are they getting ready to bail out quietly?)

On the flip side, I understand yours and other councillors reservations about contributions on this site but you have to admit that the weight of material here is too much to be all dismissed out of hand. Too many questions remain unanswered. Not just here but in the local papers and the community websites.

I've also seen first hand some of the shenanigans going on to know that some of your colleagues are operating in devious ways. That's why I'm inclined to believe similar related experiences from others.

My niggling doubt is that we are a disparate or apathetic lot in the Richmond borough and the Lib Dems may still sneak in through the back door! Could be another reason why many remain in hiding.
