RHP is a registered charity, as are many other private companies.

41 per cent of all the tenants who could vote and were encouraged to vote to sell out actually did. Whether or not that was a majority entirely depends upon your preferred interpretation of the intentions of those who refused to vote.

According to DETR guidelines Council's should state the terms of the ballots in advance. No prizes for guessing which Council did not.

Tenants were told there is "no real choice", perhaps a serious mistake in view of the "Arm's Length" companies as proposed elsewhere.
