What is so lamentable is that they are meant to be our main opposition in Richmond as the only realistic possibility of regaining control.

How I despair at the current state of affairs and wonder how we can genuinely improve things. As Ron Harvey has pointed out before, we may be placing too much store in next May's elections in being the answer to all of the problems. That's why I keep looking at alternative solutions but wonder if I am alone in this thinking.

Back to the existing system, if the Lib Dems are making a mess of things (but they have got some good points, whatever the critics say) and the Tories are a selfish lot, forever out to lunch, any views on what Labour have to offer? I know that Cllr Michael Gold is very active and honourable, who genuinely cares, but what of the others?
