Your slur against the Conservatives and school Governors ignore the fact that there is a continuing rumpus about the Lib Dems packing the Governing boards and not appointing Governors on a proportional basis.

It has always been the accepted way of appointing political Governors except under the Lib Dems.

There is a material difference between electing a party leader [an internal party matter] and choosing one of your OWN to chair an investigation into you own leaders.

Your further nasty remark about Ian Duncan Smith belays the fact that the Conservative leader has been elected since the middle sixties nearly 40 years ago.

Like Labour until recently the Conservatives electorate was limited until 1997 to MP's. Obviously with the Lib Dems this would have been imposable due to their very minimal representation in the House. After the next General Election they will be down to their normal level of 10/20.
