I don't know much about the ice rink situation and suspect that many outside of this forum may not do either apart from the basic outline. Therefore, Cllr Mann's response appears to be reasoned and valid. Richard Meacock may need to refresh, for those that don't know, the other side. The old hands may groan but you need a wider audience now if you really want to change things.

What I can say is that the temporary ice rink in Richmond last winter seemed to be thriving and my children hugely enjoyed it as their first ice skating experience.
