This is the extent to which Lord Razzall "dominates" the Lib Dem Group in the Borough.

a. I have not spoken to Razzall since he left the Council.
b. He has not attended a Group Meeting since he left the Council.
c. His views have not been input into any matter with which I have been involved since he left the Council.
d. To put it bluntly, he is history so far as this borough is concerned, and not very interesting history at that.
e. Most of the councillors currently serving in the borough had no involvement in the decisions you excoriate. They want to get on with sorting out today's challenges rather than wasting time and money going over old ground over and over again. What Cllr Hall did in 1983 is completely irrelevant.

What you should be doing, if you are concerned about the ethics of the current lot of councillors, is examining their records to see if they are properly declaring interests and observing the provisions of the various natinal and local codes and protocols which govern our actions.


If Charles Kennedy visits a borough which has two Liberal Democrat MPs and which is 10 miles or so from the House of Commons more than his own constituency over 500 miles away is not that surprising. He has also in the past worked very closely with the two MPs, particularly Vince Cable.
