Just as an interested party with very similar pains, I have just recently had 2 epidorals and 6 sympathetic nerve blocks, but very little relief. Previous to these, I had tarsel tunnel surgery with no relief. I've tried neurontin, nortryptilin, amytryptilin, elavil with no relief. I, too, am open to any and all suggestions. Very frustrating and down right painful. Some nights I can't stand the sheets against my feet. I take one half or one perocet, depending on the pain.
I'll be watching for responses.

In my view, the combination of procedures which you had are so all over the lot that it's difficult to understand why you would have been put through that. If you have the same symptoms as Marion, I see nothing to suggest that the sympathetic nervous system is involved. That, as well as the use of an epidural block would certainly be inconsistent with the decision to try tarsal tunnel syndrome. I would suggest that you have more in depth discussions with your doctors as to what prompts them toward their courses of action. and obtain a second or even a third opinion before undergoning additional invasive procedures.
