I am terrfied to have the surgery, I know there are potential complications (cock-up deformity, bunions, etc,.) and I worry that I'll never walk the same again and/or have a limp. My current doc. (#6) seems to think that if it were going to heal it would have done so by now.
Any thoughts......
Thanks for any feedback!!

I gotta be honest . . If you were my patient, operating on you would scare ME. If you are that terrified of having an elective surgery, my advice is . . DON'T HAVE IT.
I long ago learned to listen to that which patients were telling me . . verbally and otherwise . . and from what you have been saying, you are telling me that you are probably not emotionally ready to have this surgery. Early in my career, I made the mistake of operating on a patient this fearful and I should have listened to her, 'cause she was right . . things DIDN'T work out. Somehow I think that patients can control that, and I simply don't need the aggravation.
Sorry . . You may be offended . . but THAT'S the truth as I see it.
