You, along with some other docs..,agree that "compatibile" part is by no means finite and are correct to say so. The x-rays visibly show more of a clear break in the bone however.
I am in NYC among some of the very best doctors and as such, they are costly. I have seen 6 already and of course I 've gotten different opinions, i.e, cast it, remove it, wait it out, and I know the choice is mine to make.
DO you think that my current Doc. is correct in saying that if it were going to heal it would have done so after nine months now? He also said to only take out a portion (1/3), but wont it just break or hurt again after some time?
Also, I have hope that it may just need more time, am I kidding myself and postphonong the inevitable?
I know alot of sports oriented people get this done and return to normal activity. I imagine it to be really painful, I wonder if a root canal is worse (had one yesterday)? I am really scared that I'll never walk the same again, that i'll have a limp or deformity.
Any thoughts.....
