Whilst this may be true surely councillors are ultimately responsible for everything which goes on.

I would suspect that this case will never cme to the tribunal and then we will all be left wondering if there was a settlement and if so how much was paid out.

According to a number of postings on this site considerable sums are paid out in respect of COT3's. Is there no way that we as residents and our representatives can know just how much is paid out? If there is any question that payments are made to cover up failings of council officers then surely it's wrong if these amount can be concealed. Or am I being naive ?

BTW are there any instances of a case going to an Industrial Tribunal and the Council losing ?
