Be careful on this one. It is really an argument about a professional matter between two professionals.

According to Carlos he was suspended as the site arcitect for speaking to the Headmaster of the school where the building was erected [his client in a proffessional sense] and thereby going behind the back of the design arcitect his professional coleague.

While it may well be true that the Council as his employer treated him badly it is very much a proffessional matter and not one that involved or should have envolved Councillors directly.
