No, but I could not deal with such an application as a councillor because I had been involved in the promotion of the scheme.

The issue of whether or not space is lost and to what extent; and what the implications are of that, is clearly something which will be a material consideration; as wil be the arrangements proposed to be made to secure any public benefit which might accrue as a result of the development and which is to be considered in the planning proposal when taking into account the land use mix.

So, moan away as much as you like, but I will not comment on the merits of the Riverside Scheme. There are lots of other people who can do so in a far more informed and entertaining manner than can I.
