Cllr Mann the question that Anthony Berend asked was why are the Council giving away the Twickenham riverside site for £1 and you have declined to answer. This is not a planning matter and there is no reason why you should not answer.
My question is "Who are the proposed developers?" Dawnay Day are a small but respected investment bank and financial house. They are not known to be developers in their own right and are unlikely to have the expertise necessary. So who are they acting for?
Or, once again, do you not think it of any importance?
Do you not think it important to know who the ultimate owners of the Riverside site will be?
And please do not come back with the same waffle about the control which the lease will provide. The Council are still arguing with Squires, 10 years later, about his use of the farmhouse. You and your colleagues were not even aware of the unauthorised buildings on Fulwell Golf Course until the Council was forced, by myself, to apply to the Inspector to alter the MOL line in order to legitimise, more than five years retrospectively, the development.
Please answer the questions. Why the sale for only £1? And to whom are you really selling?
Sorry for the repeat but my eyesight is not what it was and I did not see all the typos until I had posted the first version. |
