I do not have any of the sign you mentioned in your response but, they said they see the bony prominence on the x-ray and my Achilles tendon is tight because it has to stretch over the bony prominence. They gave me heel lift to take the strain off of the tendon, ibuprofens and heat packs. I will start pt once the swelling goes down.
I have never had a problem with shoes rubbing and I do not wear high heels.
Would a MRI be more revealing than an x ray and should I request one.
