Hi. I wonder if you can help please?
My doctor diagnosed tendonitis, caused by over use, showing as extreme pain in base of big toes, when driving/walking uphill etc.
My only pleasure really outside of work, is taking advantage of our glorious local countryside via hill/mountain walking.
I would HATE to give this up, but at the moment the last walk I did left me screaming when I then had to drive home and press the brake - never good for nervous passengers!
Is there anything at all I can do, from exercise through to different shoe inserts?
I have good reliable walking boots which I replace no less often that every three years before the support goes, and I have checked for creases along the front, but they are fine.
Any info at all would be really useful and appreciated. I do not want to have to give up walking!
Thanks, Erica |
