I have just returned from being away, and would like to offer my sympathies to Richard Meacock's family. I didn't agree with very much he ever said or did, but if we don't have diversity in our world then we are done for.
At the end of the day all we leave behind us is the memory of us in others' minds, and no-one who ever came into contact with Richard Meacock will ever forget him. I hope we will remember his positive characteristics first and foremost, particularly his determination. |
