Make sure that you know exactly what the bone stimulator is going to cost.
I had bunion surgery and was given a bone stimulator.
I was told that my insurance would cover the cost of most of it.
The person selling the stimulator would not give me the price for it over the phone.
He met me at the POD's office and then told me that it was 5000.00.
However, his words "You will probably end up paying about 800.00.".
Eventually, I ended up with the whole bill and was sent to an interum collection agency.
I was able to clear all of this up with my mighty strong personality.
However, be very cautious when signing the contract.
DO NOT BELIEVE WHAT THE SALES PERSON TELLS YOU. For, I was told that it was covered.
What the contract will read is that you are ultimately responsible for cost of the stimulator! |
