To be completely honest with you... I do not now, nor have I ever in the past, hesitated to ask questions of your so-called "Royality-like" doctor figures. Maybe I was not as wordy with my question as you needed. Let me further explain/inform...
I did in fact ask THAT doctor questions relating to the cyst in my foot. He seemed more interested in my impending trip to Hawaii. (I had a strong sense of urgency regarding my departure date and a resolution to the mobility issue.) He wanted to know where I was staying and spent more time telling me about the podiatry convention there, than getting an extensive patient history or God forbid, touching my foot! (I guess I didn't think it prudent in my first e-mail to bash that doctor publicly, but now I have in fact, just done that...)
I didn't further think that the e-mail I sent conveyed a wall flower, under-educated, timidness so I was fully taken aback by your response. After the results of the MRI, which he reluclantly agreed to, I fully intend to see another qualified Podiatrist because of his bizarre, lackadaisical behavior!
In the meantime, while searching for conditions like mine on the internet to help inform myself, I have found NOTHING! That is why I would come to someone like YOU and ask for some sort of information or supposition on YOUR part. I would NEVER rely on some internet doctors' diagnosis no matter how condecending!
Not everyone has a Podiatrist next door to run and ask a question... A brain surgeon across the street - yes, but a Podiatrist - no. AND, have you ever tried to get in to see a podiatrist? They're really booked out.
No one needs to be berated for searching for information! I guess in the future, I will try the Yellow Pages or maybe even Karnack the Magnicifient for some wisdom! |
