I have been into the doctor for pain, swelling and numbness in my left foot. The Podiatrist I've been seeing thinks it's a neuroma at this point, (MRI is tomorrow). But when he X-rayed my foot, trying to diagnose the pain, the doctor stated that what I thought was a bunion on that very same foot is in fact a cyst and not at bunion at all. I've always had pain (in my adult years, I'm 43 now...) in that toe, because I thought I had a bunion and it was further aggrivated by wearing tight shoes or high heels. Since my main complaint was not the bunion/cyst, the doctor gave me no information on the cyst or it's cause/treatment/cure. Do you have any info? Should I be worried? Could it be at all linked to the neuroma type pain I've had start out of the blue about a month ago? |
