Look John, diagnosis is not a do-it-yourself sport. That's what seeing a doctor is for. The only real reason that you desire a diagnosis is so that you might then proceed with some sort of hoped-for remedy, likely obtained in the same manner. The diagnostic procedure, when done correctly, is not a hit or miss, blind guess and re-guess, brute-force trial and error process. It requires structure, information, testing and, most of all, a logical and knowledgeable mind to first formulate a set of possibilities and then to discard one or more at a time, based on newly obtained information, until hopefully the true cause is revealed. Then the treatment process can begin. But the vast majority of these necessities is not and can not be made available in forums such as this, which unfortunately, too many people see as a replacement for actual face to face doctor-patient interaction, whether predicated on the prospect of cost or time savings. Generally neither are resultant, and following the incorrect path when it comes to your health and/or physical well-being can often cost far more in gold and time, but even more in your long-term health and prospects of eventual resolution of problems.
So, my recommendation is for you to stop this do-it-yourself process and to see a well chosen podiatrist or other qualified specialist, and for God's sake, to use a modicum of sense and stop whatever voluntary activities are producing your complaints until they can be professionally evaluated. |
