I am experincing a problem with my feet & toes feeling painfully cold. The foot itself is warm to touch, but the toes are cold to touch. The sensation seems to get worse if I put socks & shoes on. I do not have this problem when I am barefoot at night when I go to bed. It usually starts when I get up. I also have pain in the very tip end of both my big toes. They are not red or swollen. My other toes hurt but not like the big ones. I have seen my doctorand he tested for Peripheral Artey Disease. That test turned out normal. I was also test for Dibeties and my ana levels and sed rate and c active protein and thyroid were all checked also. These all returned normal.
I have Fibromylgia and I am taking Prozac and Lipitor.
I am 42 years old. I have had a nerve test on my arms wrist & hands and have moderate to severs nerve problems there, and at times experience numbness, tingling & pain. I also have numbness & tingling in my toes & feet at times. I mentioned the wrist & hands because I don't know if there is a correlation with my feet. The only thing my doctor has said is it might be a neuropathy. It is driving me crazy and I would appreciate any insight on this. |
