As I've said before RH, you are far too defeatist, pessimistic and cynical. You never seem to suggest the solution. Hints have been made about the Green Party -surely it can't be that we all join them as they have all the answers! What are their chances of winning even one ward?
By the way, I am a doer as well as a talker/writer and do get involved in a voluntary capacity. I founded a parents group for parents of children with special educational needs and organised a conference recently, inviting a specialist solicitor in education law, along with a speech and language therapist. Many found this to be very useful. I am well aware of how hard it is to motivate people to take an active interest.
I'm late on this scene because I haven't got involved politically but have seen a pattern of deficiences that have evolved from the education side. It doesn't preclude me from becoming more aware now and commenting, as your 'know it all' tone seems to suggest. |
