Hello Dennis,Chris Fulke Greville is my closest brother and business associate.I have been working with him for years trying to solve this mystery.
For years we have been obstructed by other Greville family members from inheriting the estate that should have been passed to my dad Peter Fulke Greville when Lord Greville died in 1987.
Lord Greville born 1912 and died 1987 was a homosexual so had no heirs and so the estate went into the Greville trust and his long term partner Terence Towfield was left an income as was several cousins.
Peter Charles Algernon Fulke Greville was never recognised as the second son of 3rd Baron Greville,Charles Beresford Fulke Greville and was left to go it alone until 1948 when dads Great Aunt,Countess Katherine Greville who adored dad told him the family secret.
I was born in 1941 as Anthony Ascroft but dad left my mum because she was caught having an affair with an American Gi while dad was serving away and I never saw my dad until many years later.
It was in 1949 that dad changed his name to his real fathers name Fulke Greville,got married again to his long term wife June Palmer.They have 5 children Christopher Fulke Greville,Debrah Fulke Greville,Peter Fulke Greville,Caroline Fulke Greville,Stuart Fulke Greville.
Talking to dad he said every child would be named Fulke Greville and would remain proper Grevilles,blood is thicker than water especially as his mother Cecil Violet Enid Greville youngest daughter of Major Brooke Southwell Greville ,Kings Messenger was blood to her uncle 3rd Baron Greville.
