Two years ago I had my dress shoe tied a little too tight and I stepped up sharply on a curb. I felt a sharp pain on the back of my left heel. I discounted it and the next day it was swollen, red and tender to the touch. I saw the doctor months later and he said it was bursitis and gave me some meds to reduce the swelling. The meds didn't fix it. In the mean time I found a new job. Unfortunately I went through series of company shut downs or lay offs and still today have been unable to get it fixed and back into corporate America.
It hurts to wears shoes. It is red and I can feel the swollen bursa sack. I've tried Advil and cold gel packs and nothing seems to work. I have been unable to gain employment and God has provided an opportunity to use my years of corporate America and non-profit experience (project management, marketing and fund-raising). Starting in January I’m moving my family on a permanent basis to Mexico to help a 10 location orphanage organization with their business side of the house (project management, marketing and fund-raising). I need an inexpensive fix, if possible.
