It could be a number of thing, and possibly none of those which I will include. The following is by no means a complete list of possibilities. It would be in some way related to your previous injury. It could be a retro-calcaneal bursitis. It could be insertional osteo-arthritis of the Achilles tendon. It could be gout. It could be an infection. It could be Haglund's deformity . . or it could be none of the above. Since you have previously engaged a doctor who has treated your foot, why are you not bringing this problem to him/her? In any event see a qualified specialist for a knowledgeable answer.x
