I agree with Bernie...there are ways to afford comfort to protrusions behind the big toe commonly called "bunions"...padding can help when used (like eyeglasses, meaning it may help when used but will not correct the problem) and castor oil may soften skin if there is a buildup of callus over the bump, but it will not correct the problem.
But, that being said, castor oil will not hurt you (unless your allegric to it) so if you try it and it helps...problems solved, otherwise see a podiatric surgeon.
