my doctor, who came highly recommended, told me he had a 100% success rate with the injections so far. that was a year ago and he had only treated about 25 patients or so, he said he was waiting for the procedure to be tested a little longer before using it. anyway, it seemed to help a little at first, but after 10 shots - yes 10! i still have times when the pain is so severe i have to stop and take my shoe off to massage it. of course i wear big comfy shoes as much as i can, but all dress shoes make it hurt. the shots are definitely painful because they try to get the needle right in the nerve. i am still trying to find a possible solution for this problem without surgery.
