Hi everyone...I have been running for 6 months now and want to continue as injury-free as I can...however, I am suffering from constant shin-splints on my left foot and I think my shoes are not the proper type for me...I am med. arch and tend to slightlty supinate on my right and severely pronate on my left...at least I feel this is so...is this possible?...I am right-handed but left-footed...contrary to what seems to be the norm! I live in Panama and we really do not have "specialty" running stores that I can just pop in and get good advice. I've tried the wet test, the coin arch test, wear test, etc...but I feel I do not have the "Right" information to go out and buy some shoes that won't hurt me more in the end. I am wearing Nike running shoes...when I bought them I wasn't runner-savvy so I don't even know what they're called, they just have a number of which I can't find a match anywhere...I love running so much its hell when I have to take time out due to injury and cross-train...I normally do 15 to 25 miles a week. Someone have any guidance!??
