Not only we mourning the loss of butchers, bakers, greengrocers, fishmongers Etc and other self employed owner occupied shops, we suggest a Countrywide replacement scheme where shopping malls and superstores have caused their demise. We suggest 'Rates Free Freeholds' offered to the selfemployed as a requirement specifically tied to these uses so sadly lost yet greatly needed. No new 'shopping Malls or Superstores' should be granted planning without safeguarding these owner occupied small businesses to protect choice, quality and diversity. Nothing less than a change in The Law. My Court Case has more behind it than it at first appears.
