“Someone else” flew the plane
“someone else” orchestrated the deed
“someone else” provided safe haven
“someone else” fo-filled financial cravings
“someone else” is waiting to strike
“someone else” will be on the next flight
“someone else” is making evil plans
“someone else” was let rise again
And what say the cards, after the cards were dealt
“There can be no doubt, it was someone else”
Evil is the enemy of every good person on earth
it must be found, cut down and its roots burnt
You cannot reason or with evil negotiate
only identify, expose and eliminate.
Evil is not an endangered species to protect
and we are often guilty of turning our heads
when it has been “someone else”
But this was not someone else maimed and slayed
this was not savagery wrought on someone else land
and this is not someone else who will go only so far
This is the mighty UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
Our colors flock like birds of prey to your caves
Armadas ride fast and hard on every wave
the lands about you thunder beneath our army’s feet
evil being the most cowardly you scurry to retreat
Our cursed weakness you know and use well
we will be merciful and not send all of you to hell
no doubt good people will suffer as a result
going to great lengths to protect the innocent
ones you would eagerly butcher and hold for your defense
we are admittedly too compassionate and yet
just which of you will be next and who left
This time you have climbed on the wrong dogs porch
and this dog will hunt you down on any and every shore
This is not a Nation that kneels to fear nor a people
terror you sent and terror “someone else” is coming to call
Cut us and we will bleed
slaughter our families and we will weep
shock us and we will hesitate
just long enough to insure “someone else’s” fate
We are still standing after “someone else’s” best shot
Even though “someone else’s” aim was true, each citizen feels the hit
But our flag is still waving and with honor covering our dead
Now the spirit, resolve and justice of the Red, White and Blue
is coming to cover with dust, dirt and dishonor “someone else”
And we too have no doubt that “someone else” is you and you
and you and you and you and you and you and you and you
