In a posting I made recently I asked a direct question of Councillor Mann. So that he was not able to say he had not see the posting I copied it to Cllr Mann by e-mail to his Council e-mail address.
You can see his reply to me under the string titled
"An insult to public consultation"
This seems to be a way of making the responsible councillor reply to our accusations of sleaze and wrong doings at Richmond.
May I suggest that anyone asking a question of Cllr Mann via a posting on this site also e-mails Cllr Mann directly to his council e-mail address, which is
cllr.lmann@richmond.gov.uk
It then cannot be said that he had no time to look at this site.
In fact there is no reason why we cannot e-mail any question to Councillors directly - The leader any Cabinet members or any committee chairman. All their e-mail addresses are on the Richmond Council’s web site.

click “ Councillors” and you can search either by name or by ward. Committee chairman and Cabinet members are also listed.
Why does not someone ask Cllr Serge Lourie the Leader of the Council why it was necessary to make such a large payment of Council tax payers money to Robert Hancock considering all the circumstances?
This would really be democracy at work. It would be real consultation because the Councillor could not shut us up until they give a proper answer.
If we must always be polite - asking correctly researched questions. Then they will have to answer or the electorate will take note. If an answer tries to hide the facts or is evasive we just repeat the question until we get a full and proper answer.
His then would be a very important reason to advertise this site as was suggested by the administrator.
