The latest news from within Civic Centre is that the insufferable scribe, Rowenaspin Rotweiler Davison is going off. No surprise to those who think she went off years ago, of course. Who ever would have thought Richmond council executive management would have had the brains to realize how much harm she has been doing to their cause for so long. She was the mistress of ham-fisted spin, an incompetent, inexperienced, hack whose patronising work always betrayed connivance with the Williams/Hancock school that treats truth as an endangered commodity. So she is no more! Gone! Booted out unceremoniously! A past press officer. But wait... she's offered a job in Harbord's Hammersmith. Denials all round... does she remain or not? Is the spinner being spun? "Leaving for career advancement? Spending more time with the family?" or pushed from a great height! - time will tell!
Lets hope that the new council press officer will present a better image of us to the world than the secondrate Rowenaspin we have been enduring.
