So Heathrow 2 (T5) has been given the go ahead. Despite terrorists in the sky in America despite another crash believed to have been caused by one plane being just a bit too close to the plane in front our wonderful government listens to BAA & Ba over every other consideration The billions of pounds could have built an in the Thames estuary giving them all the space for development they needed but no! our government bends over backwards to help big business in every way including not collecting taxes on fuel that others would have to pay. This whole affair from beiginning to end stinks and now they will even take away even the fascade of an enquiry by taking over the Planning application procedure. It is obvious the people count for nothing. I thought the old conservative government had got as low as any government could but this so called Labour has reached an all time low.It is quite clear that democracy is dead in Britain and that is the reason that nobody votes anymore.
Why don't the government go the whole hog and defranchise people just have votes for businesses the bigger the business the more votes you get. At least everyone would know the truth. Parliament would consist of The Aviation Party with the opposition perhaps the The Pharmacutical Party etc etc.
