Well Peter Wilnot has gone. The official verse runs something like "left by mutual consent".. "wants to spend more time with his family" etc. In fact the actual departure was more colorful. Following a massive bust up with his bosses Peter returned to his office last Friday [9th] and announced he was immediately leaving his post. Hurridly he cleared his desk he then stormed out of the Civic uttering displeasures towards his former employer.
Legal action to follow?
Anyway we are sure he will soon calm down after he receives his huge payoff cheque as reward for ruining - sorry - running Social Services & Housing at Richmond. The old saying goes, failing old council officer's never die they are just paid off - well at the London Borough of Richmond Under Water they are. |
