I hurt my foot approximately a month ago. First thing I noticed was my left foot was swollen. It Was hard for me to walk. My first visit was to the Orthopedic Doctor, He gave me inflammatory meds to take and said I probably would need to see a Podiatrist. My appointment was last Friday 14th of September. He took a few more x-rays and didn't seee any broken or fractures, He went on to say he was going to give me a cortizone shot, that he did. Before I left the room I asked him what was the diagnosis, He said
"incapulitis" and that he wanted to see me in 3 weeks. After reading your input on incapsulitis, I feel pretty unsure about this diagnosis and treatment. I want to start feeling better, not worse. I do have an appointment set up back with my Ortho Dr. and I just wonder what he is going to do. By the way "Incapsulitis" doesn't even show up on WebMd and I ususally go there to find out about medical conditions. If you have any enouragement by this time please email me. I'm stuck as to which way to go from here.
