Hi,
I am hoping that anyone who reads this will be able to help me. Last Setpember I sprained my right ankle while walking down some stairs into a sandbox. It was not a regular sprain, which I have done on my left ankle. This one felt more like I had turned my foot inwards rather than just my ankle going over. Anyways, I did the RICE thing when I got back to my place right away. I also did some physio at home when my ankle/foot had healed. However, I have been having severe pain in my heal since then. I will describe the pain: the whole heel area is painfully sore, usually throbbing most of the day. The pain is mostly stabbing pain, especially after I have been walking and in the morning when I get out of bed. I stretch my foot to help with the pain, but I still seem to limp on it once in awhile. Any suggestions what it might be?
I wear arch supports in my shoes made by Bare Balance to help with my arches.
I have been doing research..is this heel spurs because of possibly having plantar facisitis in my right foot? any information would help.
I'm 27 years old, slightly overweight.
