Hi- I have a strange callus on the bottom of my foot that is causing pain. it runs vertically from between the big toe to the ball of the foot. It only appears to be a small line of a callus- about 1.5 inches long. It feels like it goes deep into the ball part of the foot and is painful to walk on in bare feet. What in the world would cause something so strange? I have never heard of a callus being in a "line" shape. I have tried to use a pumice stone on it- but because it is only a line- it is very hard to do any good with it. Any suggestions anyone?
