My son broke his femur in his left leg on 15 th January and had surgery to insert a rod on 15th Jan. He has progressed well except over the past 3-4 days he has started to get a burning sensation on the top of his foot. It feels tingly. Foot isn't hot to touch but to him it is burning.
It only comes on at night and lasts till about 10.00 am next morning.
I feel it is probably a nerve thing but I am wondering what I can do to ease the pain of it for him.
I have given him anti infammatries and tramal but he says they do nothing at all.
Hoping you can help. Is there a cream I put on it? |
