Have you had a needle study done? This is where they actually measure the pressure in the comp. after exercise.
If you have documentation of this, release may be good for you.
I have done many of these with Dr.Herzenberg in Baltimore MD. They are limb deformity sepcialists but they do a lot of fasciotomies.
Basically the procedure can be done with a special instrument they have. (Its similiar to the tool seamstresses use to pick apart thread) except its two feet long) A small incision is used by the knee and the fascia is released.
I would not have open fasciotomies, but risks exist both ways.
