after a stress fracture, it has been 5wks, and the swelling is not any better at all, I have the swelling in the top of my forefoot and on the bottom at the balls of my foot. Could the swelling just be this stubborn? surely if this was a stress fracture it would have improved a little. Could I have RSD? What else could this be, that would have the swelling in my forefoot? The swelling bothers me more than the pain. My pod. could never diagnose me with anything, all xrays came back negative and MRI readings did not say anything. My pod. gave my MRI to the head of POd, at the clinic and he said stress fracture in the 2nd and 3rd metatarsal based on the reading of the MRI which read "abnormalities in the 2nd and 3rd metatarsals" What do you guys think? Any suggestions would be helpful. Surely, if I actually do have stress fractures, I also have something else. Ruled out based on blood work is RA, and Gout. Suggestions. Thank you
