I do not have insurance and was wondering what the average cost of "bunion surgery" is. I am going to see a Podiatrist next month and wonder if I should wait and try to get insurance prior to my road to surgery. I've read a good deal about this surgery and understand there is a lengthy recovery period and that there are risks, but quite frankly, the pain I suffer day in and day out make the time and risks involved seem worthwhile.
