I have been having severe pain in the balls of my feet for quite some time now. I would say maybe almost 2 years. I have been to the foot doctor two times and have been told I have inflamation there and until I get rid of it....it will have a snowball effect. Been taking meds for it but can't seem to make it go away. As I love to go out dancing on the weekend ( take belly dance classes as a hobby too), am a want to be runner and a pretty active person...this is a real problem for me. The pain is a severe burning only in the balls of my feet. Could this be something else? It is really starting to affect the quality of my life. Oh.....I am 48 years old. Does anyone have any advice? I wondered about soaking them in epson salts or something but don't know if I should use hot water or cold. I know there has to be some swelling because after a night of dancing or if I have walked a lot......it feels like I am walking on hot balls. I am about to be at my wits end. Thank you so much for your help.
