I hope someone can help me. For the past six months, I have been having pretty severe pain in my feet and calves, and sometimes, when I walk, I get strange sensations, as if I don't know where my feet are, which prevents me from doing anything. It can also be difficult to stand up, even for just a couple of minutes. I have been tested for RA, lupus, lyme - nothing. I have had MRIs of my lumbar spine, ankle, and foot, and the only thing they found was some joint degeneration in the big toe, and the MRI technician told me it looked as if the bones in the front of my foot had spread (probably she meant my joints - bad English). I should also add that I have had foot pain almost since I was a child - I would cry from the pain in my ankles. My doctor seems to think that my current problem is a result of years of strain on my feet (bad shoes, etc.), and failure to address whatever problem there was when I was a child. I guess I just want a definitive answer, and maybe something that has a name. This has had such a negative impact on my life, I really hope someone out there can provide some guidance or hope. Thanks!!
