I teach a recreational ballet class at a city community center, and I have a dancer that is experiencing heel pain in the heel of the supporting leg while doing barre exercises. The little girl is six and wears a size 11 or 12 shoe. For bigger feet elastic bands are made to support the arches, while not getting in the way of the form of the dancer's piont. I am having a hard time finding anything similar for my little ballerina. Does anyone know of exercises, a product, or have any other type of advice that might help? |
