Hi Geno,

I've heard that James Vartanian at 1779 Placentia Ave. ( behind Dano Surfboards) in Costa Mesa does good work. His phone number is 714-227-4765 or 714-536-9311. Please let me know how it looks afterwards.

The serial number will be on the deck written on the foam along the stringer, about one small foot up from the tip of the tail. Your board was made in mid 1968 (spring-early summer). If you can tell us the number, we can tell you the exact date and who ordered it.

Can you send us a few pictures of it, including the deck, bottom and fin/fin box area? Please send them to me at setwave@msn.com . Thanks! When I get your email, I'll send you some photos of a Pintail Hawaii I bought recently.

The Bing Pintail Hawaii was one of the earliest mini-guns made. 10 inch tails with hard turned down rails. Rocket ships! Made to go fast on steep, hollow waves.

Tom
