I have decided to take so more time off. If you would not mind offering any additional advice.

Let's say this a stress fracture or a bone bruise, although after the initial swelling subsided I did not see very much bruising at all.

How much time should I take it easy? 3weeks? 5weeks?

Should I try to limit movement?

I am not ready to go back to the Dr. just yet. If I just need time to heal, I want to take that time and see what happens.

P.S. For anyone who may run into the same problem I have, and think of finding a "foot guard" like I spoke of in my first post. I spent about 6 hours creating one. It works good. With that said it takes about 75% of the impact away when playing soccer. The problem is that there is that even though it stops reinjury from normal play, it did not stop reinjury from yet another big collision, yes that is now three collisions. I have decided that at least 3 more weeks off will be better than 6+ weeks of slowly healing and going through discomfort every week. I may create a stronger guage guard at the end of the three weeks and see how it goes.
