Hi Renee,
Thanks for the photos. Great looking board. Classic early 60s Bing. Two inch balsa center stringer, 1/4 inch offset, diagonal redwood stringer and blue pigmented resin panels between the stringers. The skeg is Bing's classic signature fin, made of ash and walnut. The board template is the classic "pig" shape, with wide hips and a narrower nose. By the way, the rails are not made of wood; they're foam, like the rest of the board, but have turned brown from years of exposure to the sun.
Please let me know the serial number. It's probably written on the balsa stringer, 6 inches or so from the tail end. I blew up your photo, but couldn't find the number... There should be one, usually.
I can't tell what the bottom looks like (no photo). I can see dings on the deck, tail and nose and along the rail. The fin has some water damage where water intrusion has occurred from drilling a hole in it. There's also some fracturing at the base of the fin. Professionally repairing these dings would increase the value of the board, along with helping to preserve the board for another 50 years and more. I'll send you a personal email with my appraisal of your board's value.
Hope this is helpful.
